In 1999 the late John Neustroski of Thames, New Zealand discovered that if an expandable latex ring could be attached to a rodent's neck or chest it would die humanely and quickly, without chance of injury and or escape. In 2003 John died and left behind a great idea.
The rolled latex rubber ring used by NOOSKI was invented and originally manufactured in New Zealand in the 1950s, and today is used worldwide for farm animal castration, abattoir use and the NOOSKI trap system.
NOOSKI® was established by David Wells and brother-in-law Luc Desbonnets in 2006 and has become the generic term for the revolutionary ring trap.
David Wells and Luc Desbonnets acquire the exclusive global commercial rights to the ring trap concept.
